Abstract

In this paper, the results of research for fabrication of electrode for gas sensors based on in-situ synthesis nanocomposite materials Pt microelectrodes are presented. The Pt microelectrodes were fabricated using a standard photolithography technique with a finger width of 20 µm and a gap size of 20 µm. In-situ synthesis of the composition of polyaniline and modified multi-walled carbon nanotubes (PANi/MWCNTs) on interdigitated electrodes by electrochemical polymerization for H­2 gas sensor. The polyaniline composite samples were tested by field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR), Ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy for identification of the composition of modified multi-walled carbon nanotubes available on surface of nanocomposite. The obtained results demonstrate that (PANi/MWCNTs) have good potential as novel at H2 gas sensor room temperature with good sensitivity, selectivity and rapid response-recovery time.
